Self-Directed Learning and Intrinsic Motivation Levels in MOOCs

چکیده

The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between intrinsic motivation levels and self-directed learning learners within a massive open online course environment. In addition, these variables technology competences/average daily use times were also studied. This conducted with predictive design, one relational design types. context, personal information form, scale used as data collection tools. had 295 participants who completed at least full in “Akadema”, platform Anadolu University. results obtained from indicate near-medium level positive statistically significant correlation learners. Furthermore, regression analysis resulted explaining 20.5% ratio. Based on findings study, various recommendations made regarding developing competences skills students.
